Awnings are totally supported on a building without the addition of posts. There are various styles that can be used for commercial and residential applications. Some styles can be used over smaller areas such as windows and entries. They can also be made to cover and provide protection over large areas. Some of the various shapes are: lean-to, concave, dome, elongated dome and quarter round.
Awnings enhance the architectural features of a building, provide protection from the elements, and provide energy savings. Awnings have been "green" throughout the years. Awnings keep your energy costs down by blocking the sun's heat in warmer months. The American Society of Heating and Air Conditioning Engineers shows that an awning can reduce heat gain by 55 to 65 percent on southern-facing windows and 72 to 77 percent on western exposures. For contractors, the CSI Code for awnings is CSI 107313.
Our awnings come in various sizes and styles. Please contact us at the numbers below for pricing on any project that you may have.
