Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance and Safety:
   • Conduct ongoing quality inspections throughout each installation phase, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective action plans to uphold safety and QA standards.
   • Ensure that the installation site meets safety and regulatory standards.
2. Documentation and Reporting:
   • Maintain detailed logs, including team members’ hours and daily project updates.
3. Awning Installation and Maintenance:
   • Install, repair, and inspect awning frames, awning fabric, and all awning components.
   • Provide engineering solutions to unique problems on the job site (i.e. getting frames into awkward spaces or replacing a part)
4. Team Training and Management:
   • Train and manage new team members.
5. Project Planning and Coordination:
   • Collaborate with sales and design teams to review project specifications and requirements.
   • Ensure that project milestones are met and adhere to approved budgets.
   • Develop detailed installation plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and logistics.
6. On-Site Assessments:
   • Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate the installation environment and address any potential challenges.
7. Resource Coordination:
   • Coordinate the procurement and delivery of materials and equipment needed for installations.
   • Verify that all necessary tools and resources are available for the installation team.
8. Timeline Management and Problem-Solving:
   • Monitor project timelines and ensure that installations are completed on schedule.
   • Implement strategies to address any delays or obstacles and ensure that installations are completed within schedule and budget.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or the equivalent, plus 12 months of experience in the field.

Hours: 40hrs per week – Mon.-Fri – 9-6 P.M.

Required qualifications:

• 18 years or older

Preferred qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in the construction industry
• At least bachelor's degree or higher
• Able to work in an environment with heights over 6 feet
• Able to stand for duration of shift
• Able to comfortably lift 30 lbs
